About M L Williams Funeral Directors
M L Williams Funeral Directors was established in Ayr in February 1982 when Mr Michael Leslie Williams was made redundant from large department store Affleck’s of Ayr when it closed. Mike had worked as the in-house Funeral Director in Affleck’s for 11 years. Mike continues to work today as an ambassador and mentor and his care and assistance is invaluable.
Our friendly team at M L Williams looks after the communities of Ayr, Prestwick, Mossblown, Annbank, Drongan, Mauchline, Auchinleck, Troon, Monkton, Dalrymple, Coylton, Hollybush, Denure, Doonfoot, Alloway, Maybole Minishant and New Cumnock.
The team at our funeral home will provide advice at every stage of the funeral planning process, and will arrange an individual and unique funeral to help you celebrate the life of your loved one.
Here at M L Williams Funeral Directors we also offer an affordable prepaid funeral plan, Choice, so that you can arrange and pay for a funeral in advance. This will protect your family from rising costs and remove uncertainty about your wishes.
If you would like to talk to us about planning a funeral, or our Choice plan, please come and see us in any of our funeral homes, or if you’d rather we can arrange a home visit. We’re also available 24 hours a day on the phone so if you need anything please don’t hesitate to call your local funeral home.
